When are you open?
A. Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 5.30 pm. We sometimes stay open later and may open on Sundays but please check first.
FAQ. Do you do framing? (this is out most popular question)
FAQ. Can you quote over the phone?
A. Without knowing the exact measurements, the type of picture frame moulding, the type of matting and also glazing requirements we cannot quote correctly. Bringing the work into the studio for a no obligation free quote takes out the guess work.
FAQ. How long does it take?
A. This depends on the work. We try to work in with our customer’s timetables. A simple job might take a few days. Whereas a big job e.g. Hundreds of certificates for the Scout Jamboree takes a lot longer. Also a complex 3d Box will take extra time for design and construction.
FAQ. Do you do the framing or send to another factory?
A. All work is done at our workshop and studio in Campbelltown. No framing is sent off site. We do use other suppliers to mount medals or touch up photography. Your permission will be sought if we do this.
FAQ. What cord do you use for hanging?
A. We use 2 and 2.5 mm thickness non-stretch cord for lighter works. And for heavier and mirrors we use stainless steel wire. The cord is secured to enable the longest life possible. Because of our many years of experience we have been able to develop the best way to secure as possible. We do not fasten with cheap materials.
FAQ. Are your products acid-free?
A. Yes, at Campbelltown Framing Gallery our products are acid-free. We are proud conservation framers. Our goal is to help preserve your work with the safest materials possible. This includes backing boards, cardboard, staples, matting etc.
FAQ. How should I hang my work?
A. We strongly recommend not using stick-on hooks. Many of our repairs are from works that have fallen from the walls.
FAQ. Do you sell Gift Certificates?
a. Yes, we do.
